Did I tell you I got married yesterday?
Abundance tribe. I know you like gist. Okay, keep reading. So, yesterday, I actually got married.
I got married in the presence of both blacks and whites at my University.
Now, let me do a flashback. I was called upon to take the role of a bride in a Yoruba cultural presentation yesterday. Believe me, I was worried.
I was worried for two reasons:
Because I am going through a divorce and was wondering if this was going to be a mockery of my current chaos, but you see I learned a lesson.
Because I did not know how the presentation was going to turn out.
Watch this video to see me getting married the Yoruba way.
However, I reflected on everything that happened at the wedding party(lol) and some other things in the past week. Please watch below.
It was International Mother’s Day Yesterday, and I am happy and grateful to be a mother of two lovely boys.
Please watch the video below to hear me reading a story on “The stigma in motherhood and early marriage.”
I was on Our Facebook Group today, The Left-handers Africa Network Against Stigma and Abuse, and I thought to share with you today’s session:
“Stigma and Stigmatization”
This is the last week in March. I will be blowing my trumpet and highlighting some big wins, and how I have supported a group of scholars for free in a private accountability program.
Look out for more information from Monday.
Talk soon,
