✅🏋🏿♂️ 3 MISTAKES YOU MUST NEVER MAKE WHEN YOU WORKOUT THIS WEEKEND
Every time I walk home, after using the Gerald Ratner Athletic Center , I always think about of the different people who come to the gym.
Guess what I notice?
There are often people with different body sizes.
People lifting different kinds of weights.
People working out 🏋🏿♂️ but doing different things.
Some life 10 pounds. Some 30.
Some are swimming. Some are using the threadmill.
And here are things I want you to avoid by all means, when you think about your physical health.
✅ 🏋🏿♂️Never compare 👎. I know there’s always the urge to compare, especially if your body isn’t showing the result as quickly as you would want. We all have different bodies, Kwame, and you need to understand that. So, chill and go slow.
✅🏋🏿♂️ Stop wasting time. Like seriously? You are at the gym, or going for a run, and you are sending emails? Or texting or watching TikTok vidoes? Like, really, Bimbo? You must put yourself first when doing this simple thing for your body. So, be present when you are working out.
✅🏋🏿♂️ Avoid overdose. Yes, overdosing is possible when you exercise. Overdosing is spending more than 60 minutes at the gym or doing other exercise activities. Like, what are doing, Amina? Do you want to end up having an unproductive rest of day? Or you wanna sleep off while driving to work, or running errands?
