One mistake I made when I left my job...
If I was to turn back the hands of time, I would never make this mistake again...
You already know that I left the my job and the many things I discovered, while using myself as the sample for the stimulus test, haha.
There’s a new chapter now, and I am so hitching to also share that with as we go along in my life coaching series.
But back to my regrets.
I have so many regrets, from the time I left my job.
I wished I had a coach to show me, what it looks like to transition from corporate America, to building a startup company.
I wished I had saved alot of money during my job- you know how we complain that the job never pays well, the cash is never enough, bla bla bla bla bla bla.
But, we are still able to spend money on mundane things or things that we want, and never really need.
Well, I was guilty of that too- and I think the stress that comes with working a job, puts you in this place, where you do everything to take away the stress- expensive vacations, shopping or medications, anti-depressants, etc.
And we use the not so enough resources, to fund life styles that we can’t sustain.
We are sad about our jobs, but put up a facade online, to folks around us. I can go on and on!
I have my many regrets.
I regret not diverting my pain towards my job-
I regret not diverting the frustrations towards growing my business early enough.
But when I stopped complaining, and decided to get my brand off the ground, I have commanded fees that I could not be paid for my many degrees.
I have networked in few months, more than I have done in many years of working.
Jobs take your time, and time is life, and as you lose time, you age, and as you age you gradually get closer to becoming dispensable or a liability to the system.
What will you do if your job was taken away from you today?
I am hosting a webinar on zoom, and you can register and join our Telegram community to attend.
PS: I was completing a degree in Alabama, was graduating that term and also completed my second book, and launched it; Moral of the picture, - you can finish whatever you start and authoring a book that people need, is one way to create an impact driven source of income.😊
