This is my story!

Every year, as my birthday draws closer, I have decided that I will reshare my stories with you!

Abundance tribe. I waited so long for this day, to share my truth with you.

I share, not with the intention to make you like me more. It is okay if you do so.

I share not with the intention to make you empathize with me. Yes, it is okay if you do so.

I share, not with the intention to make you believe me or make you see reasons with me. It is okay if you do that as well.

However, I share for two reasons.

One, to make my oppressor(s) learn that I am free, and I am unashamed about my truth.

Two, to free other victims who think they can’t find a new life ever again, or who are even stuck in unhealthy relationships because they have kids.

Sadly, my current dilemma has taught me that when children grow up, they make their choices and choose who to believe. What they believe or what people make them believe, you can not control.

What you can control is the truth that you share.

Today, I take courage in the words of Dr. Martin Luther King Jnr. “We must build dykes of courage, to overcome the floods of fear”
